History

Mithra Vankipuram completed her PhD in Biomedical Informatics from Arizona State University in 2012. She has a background in Computer Science having received a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University (India) in 2006 and an M.S. in Computer Science from Arizona State University in 2008. Over the course of her graduate studies, she was involved with a number of projects ranging from virtual reality simulations for surgical skills and team training to the development of personal activity monitoring tools. She is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the HP Labs (Hewlett-Packard), in Palo Alto, California. To learn more about Mithra, visit http://vankipuram.com.
