The Center for Cognitive Ubiquitous Computing (CUbiC) sponsored a local hackathon, dubbed HackPHX, in which 50 programmers, hobbyists and hackers competed on January 18th, 2014 to build creative and innovative wearable technologies in less than 24 hours using the Arduino-compatible Xadow platform. The event was organized, promoted and hosted by HeatSync Labs in Mesa, Arizona. The official website for the event is here:
