Complex Emotion Analysis by Prasanth Lade Accepted in ICME 2013

CUbiC Ph.D. Student Researcher, Prasanth Lade, has two conference papers accepted in ICME 2013 in San Jose, California with his work on recognition of complex human emotions, like arousal and valence. The papers deal with application of “topic models” to discrete and continuous emotion recognition and detection of changes in human emotion in a real time streaming video setting respectively. His work has shown that extraction of Latent Facial Topics is useful in complex emotion analysis.
