Shreya Venkatesh received 'Young Scientist of Arizona' for her research presentation and science communication on the Parkinson's project she has been working @ CUbiC since Oct 2014

Shreya was invited to present a talk as part of a Phoenix Comicon panel over the summer on the Parkinson's disease project that she is currently working on with CUbiC. She received the "Young Scientist of Arizona" award for the research done on "A Vibrotactile System to Overcome Parkinsonian Freezing of Gait Events" and was also awarded for her science communication as an "Outstanding Young Female Scientist in Systems Software" category by Association for Women in Science (AWIS) at the regional science & engineering fair 2016.
