CUbiC Students Present Projects at FURI Symposium

CUbiC undergraduate researchers Bijan Fakhri and James Fiacco presented their FURI (Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative) projects at the FURI symposium. Bijan's project, Wireless Vibration Motors for Improving Wearable, Vibrotactile Haptic Devices, focused on the development of wireless actuators for use in human computer interaction (HCI) devices that require versatile implementations of haptic actuators. This project was intended primarily to augment the Haptic Suit for the Vibrotactile-Based Motor Learning project. James' project, Haptic Face Display as part of CUbiC’s Dyadic Social Interaction Assistant, focused on the development of a haptic face display which will be used to augment the Social Interaction Assistant project.
