Shayok Chakraborty, CUbiC Ph.D. Student Researcher and Outstanding Doctoral Graduate, has been invited to present a tutorial at ICME 2013 titled, “Active Learning for Multimedia Content Analysis,” on Monday, July 15 held in San Jose, California. Presenting with him will be CUbiC Assistant Research Professor, Vineeth Balasubramanian, and CUbiC Director, Dr. Sethuraman Panchanathan.
The tutorial will seek to present comprehensive overview of active learning in multimedia content analysis including historical perspectives, theoretical analysis and newer paradigms, such as interactive learning, along with examples and case studies of their applications in multimedia content analysis.
